Fairphone Updater doesn't react - can't install from version 1.1 to 1.6

Hi all,
I just came back from a longer travel, and found that i missed several updates for my Fairphone. It’s still on Caju (version 1.1), and when I opened the Fairphone Updater app it shows that there’s the Cherry 1.6 version availabe. But when I click on install, the only thing that happens is that the little download-arrow flashes up for less than a second up in the top. In the top menu the updater app now also shows me that a new update is availabe.
I tried to turn the phone off and on several times (also with taking out the akku and the sim card), but still nothing happens.
Can anyone help me out here?

You have 2 options:

  1. Wait some more time, until the revised update to 1.8 is released.
  2. Install 1.6 manually.
