Hello
I have a Fairphone 3 with android 13 and wanted to use the official App of Austria ID-Austria to do official busines. Unfortunately according to their helpline Fairphone is not safe enough to support the fingerproint login!
Is there a Workaround other than changing to another phonemaker?

Here’s an update regarding the fingerprint sensor issue:
Since the update to Android 13 for Fairphone 3(+), the fingerprint sensor at the back of the device can no longer be used to log into certain apps with higher security requirements, such as some banking apps.
The fingerprint sensor can still be used to lock and unlock the device itself and the affected apps can still be accessed using a password or pin code for login. However, we do realize that this is a major inconvenie…

Bei mir funktioniert es so (auch nach dem Totalumstieg auf ID-Austria Anfang Dezember):
Ich kann zwar nicht am Fairphone 3+ in die App Digitales Amt einsteigen (weil der bisherige Biometrie-Sensor nicht mehr akzeptiert wird), sehr wohl aber in die Website Digitales Amt, wobei ich mich dort beim Einloggen über die A-Trust-App authentifizieren kann. Bei letzterer konnte ich es nach einem Deinstall-Reinstall so einstellen, dass ich mich dort (anders als früher mit dem Fingerprint, was ja jetzt nic…
