Iāve just received my Bark Sweden wooden case, itās the second one, as I got one for my FP5 too. This time I bought the Masur birch, with reinforced corners.
Itās absolutely beautiful!
Itās a real piece of art and it fits like a glove on my FP6.
Itās about 1 mm over the glass screen so the screen should be well protected. The grip is more secure than with the original Fairphone cover (which is also good).
Itās not cheap, but I think itās really worth the money.
If youāre thinking about a Christmas gift for yourself think of this case.
fyi - the Tudia cases are really quite stiff. Otterbox may a lot stronger (also costs 3x the amount) but Tudia uses a combination of a sturdy but flexible polymer inner and a hard/stiff polymer outer layer which easily make it the most sturdy cover solution for the Fairphone. Also, the case sticks out about 1mm around the screen so even if it fell face down, it would still be protected.
Iām really interested in getting a Tudia mergegrip case for my FP6. Has anyone got a black Tudia case fitted on green FP6? If yes, could you provide some pics? I canāt find any picture of that combination. I would prefer a black case but donāt really like the fact the the camera cutout would still show green of the FP6 bodyā¦and I donāt want to get a black top panel for my FP6 just to āfixā this cosmetic issue. The alternative would be to go for a pine green tudia case which would match my FP6 color but I tend to prefer black case so a pic of a black tudia case on a green FP6 would help
I have the same issue. After two weeks of using the white cover it started to look dirty and it became worse since. The surface of the cover takes on any color you expose it too. Put it into the pocket of your blue jeans and it will get a blue shade. Additionally the surface has started to flake off. After two months my cover looks like itās 10 years old or so. Really bad
I was wondering out of curiosity if the design and quality will be similar, wat made me check this topic.
Maybe ther is a skin or black sticker available, some electronic stores have screenprotector cutting machines how can cut colored stickers for the backside of a phone,
this information in often not placed on a website neet to ask the shop.

At first the haptics felt strangely āslipperyā, different from the original FP case. Now that Iāve been getting used to it itās absolutely OK. The build quality is very good. The slight color difference of the two greens doesnāt bother me at all.
Overall Iām very satisfied - although I do not intend to test if the case can keep the promise of itās manufacturersā¦
Additional to the old cases it now seems to have a magnetic function.
I still use the Biowaves case for my Fairphone 4 - Iām happy to be able to use such a sustainable and functional protective case for the new FP6 again.
I bought FP4 back when it was new and didnāt have any wallet cases, I remember a thread where someone had found a phone with similar dimensions, bought the wallet case for that, and attached the official FP4 rubber cover to that wallet case. I did a similar mod, and still use it.
Since FP6 doesnāt have an official wallet case yet, and Iām considering upgrading my FP4 to FP6, I was wondering if anyone had already done the research, and found what other phones have similar dimensions/button placement/camera placement, and had wallet cases on the market, so I could again, hack together a case.
Of course, this time there is the complication of the official cover leaving a large void for the āmodularā backplate (which I have no interest in exploring) so getting a strong adhesion between the case and the wallet is going to be a bit more tricky.
I bought the tudia case and like the look and feel of it very much.
What disturbed me when I checked the packaging was the note that it contains chemicals that cause cancer. Does anyone know more about what chemical and how dangerous it exactly is?
Not exactly, however it seems like this California Proposition 65 is more strict than what other countries have, therefore thresholds are probably low. You may ask Tudia for more details. Maybe itās a chemical that was added to the list only recently as I cannot remember any such warning when we bought such a case about a year ago for an FP5.
Tudiaās website lists as material āPolycarbonate, Thermoplastic Polyurethaneā. Polycarbonate is produced using Bisphenols. Esp. Bisphenol A is considered potentially dangerous, but there should be no risk if you use the case according to itās purpose. Just donāt lick or chew it and wash your hands regularlyā¦
Just noticed there is a new variant of Tudia Case with Magsafe compatibility seemingly included. The description is vague though, at least I could not find any details.
I was tempted to get that one for my FP6. However I use a magsafe ring grip to hold my phone and Iām not sure this case would work for that as the magnet is placed on the outer plastic shell. So holding the phone with a magsafe ring would probably detach the hard shell from the soft inner layerā¦.
