Today i got an update on the Fairphone 5 so i updatet it. But now it wont charge anymore. I testet out multiple chargers and also swapped out the battery but the phone still wont charge. How can i solve this problem ?.
Also my Phone is very picky with charging cable eversince i bought it.
It only accepts chargers that can talk to the phone(Datacables and new chargers). But i got some old chargers in my home and its a shame, that im not able to use them. On my other devices, the chargers and the cables work fine.
Is there also a solution for this problem ?.

You could try to disassemble it down to the charging port. Remove it and put it back in to see if there is any lose connection.
I’ve heard that fast charging could damage the port. So if or when you can. You should disable that in settings. I found that tip quite useful honestly. On the other hand there is a charging option for the battery with an external charger if that helps. Just thought I’d give you that knowledge.
