Fairphone 3+ won't turn on or charge, fear it may be fried

Hello,

today my Fairphone 3+ from 2021 suddenly stopped turning on. When I plug it in, it shows nothing, the light doesn’t go on either.

I think it was my mistake because I bought a Samsung fast travel charger recently and did notice in the last weeks that the battery life got much worse on my phone. When I charged my phone, it would sometimes start vibrating and it would interpret random touch inputs where there were none.

I fear the voltage of the fast charger was too high and that the mother board is fried now. I opened my phone and everything looks alright.

What should I do?

If you are lucky then a Fairphone Angel is living in your neighbourhood and has a Fairphone 3 so that you can make some tests.
