Fairphone 3 not visible on computer

Hi,

When I connect my Fairphone 3 to the computer I can hear a sound, but it doesn’t become visible anywhere, not in any list of devices.

I want to do some data transfer, but it’s not possible now.

I recently did a factory reset, because “Android was corrupted”, and I lost all my files. Now I want to put some back from my computer, but it doesn’t work.

I have tried different cables, and the different options (data transfer, PTP,…), but nothing changes.

Does anyone have any idea on what to do?

I was able to fix it after all, by removing the “Acer APB Device” from my computer while the phone was plugged in, from the list of devices. After that, I unplugged it and plugged it back in. I hope this helps other people who have this problem.

Do you mean “Acer ADB Device” by chance :wink:?
