I have got an issue. My Fairphone 3+ is locked when I turn it on because I do not know the screen password and neither the google account address.
An old employee gave back to me a Fairphone 3+ last year after her departure. The problem, few people left at the same time and I do not know who the owner of this one is.
I have already done the factory reset but does not solve my problem.
Is there any mean to see the email address with which the F3+ is linked? Or any other way to unlock it?
I have got the serial number and IMEI1 and IMEI2 if needed.
You did a factory reset, that means you wiped every bit of personal data off of the phone, so it is like new (from the factory). Without the help of her ISP or the police or whatever, I don’t think you can find the owner. Maybe if you have the sim card and call the ISP they can help, but I doubt it.
If the system was not up to date, it might be possible to use some more or less shady tools to disable Factory Reset Protection (FRP). But I would never use those tools on my production system. If you have the option of using a “throw-away” computer or VM without any content and ideally without internet connection (if the tool allows), then this could be a last resort.
Searching the internet should yield quite some tools promising this. But most will probably only deliver malware and/or try to upsell you somehow, so be extremely careful when going this route!
If you have the invoice, you could try to make an an attempt at contacting Fairphone support (contactsupport). They might be able to unlock it - possibly for a fee - if you’re lucky.
If you don’t succeed and before you trash the whole phone: The only part not usable (due to FRP) is the mainboard. All the rest can be used for spare parts! Options are to either sell or donate the whole phone or parts to people who can use them. You could offer that right here on the forum in the respective category.
I finally found the code after 20 attempts without thinking it could work.
Birth dates are everywhere. Even if your employee told you he does not remember.
