Ok, but what should we do, if the tracking mail has not been sent, yet? People with similar order no. (104xx and above) got their phone and notification mail a week ago and without tracking information you get the idea, that your order has been forgotten or something… Don’t get me wrong, I am trying to be patient.
@paulakreuzer @avspt I think you’re right: while being patient, you have to know when to get worried and what to do other than just worry. My phone, 13,860, reached my home in Ireland today, the email came on Friday night and the delivery track-and-trace shows it left the shipping centre on Thursday 28th.
@anon90052001 should people who have a delivery number of few thousand lower than my phone and who have heard nothing yet contact support about it at this stage?
Due to some issue I don’t know more about many people got the mail only after their phone was delivered. I was one of them. I’m quite sure your FP2 is already on it’s way.

Well, I was calling to have my DHL tracking number… i was expecting receive my phone Monday or today, even without tracking number (they are so much testimony of wrong status and late notification mail, on this forum or social networks - not “few” as wroted @anon90052001).
But, in my case, the status in “prepare batch” was correct even with my 117xx delivery number.
What they said?
- Shipped counter is not delivery number
- They receive a big batch of FP2 from China (today, yesterday, idk).
- I should receive a tracking number this week (hopfully!)
- My phone is going to be prepared
What i can notice, is that the “Fairphone policy” first-come, first-served basis is not respected.
Or, again, Fairphone’s communication still incomplete and unclear.
As there are deliverynumbers with more than one phone, the number of shipped phones doesn’t match the deliverynumber.
Also you have to take in account the route the delivery is taking. If two phones shipped at the same time, there could be a big difference in when the phone is at his new owner. All depending on where you live, how long is the phone at customs, etc.

We’re sorry for this confusion.
Based on our newsletter sent Friday and our update on the blog post, you can base the delivery time on when you ordered your phone. Since all crowdfunded phones until the end of September are expected to ship out this week, you should only be concerned if you ordered your phone at the beginning of September and have not received a tracking email.
Right now, we are shipping orders of owners who paid for their order in mid-September. By the end of the week we will finish shipping orders who paid at the end of September.

What i don’t understand, and what is _un_fair, it is why delivery number is not respected.
It is definitely not a postman issue (as said by @paulakreuzer), but yours.

I have to admit I am quite disappointed myself. Sure, I am fully aware that Fairphone is a crowdfunding project, a lot of people putting their heart into this and doing what they can. But not having the slightest clue whether my phone (I paid for 5 months ago) has been shipper or not is just disappointing and frustrating every day. Sure, the blog posts give a slight insight - but do not provide any reliable information about my personal order. Very sad. Still looking forward to the Fairphone, but quite surprised by the lack of communication.

Well I’m far from complaining or anything, but @alexisju has a point here: It’s not about the counternumber, but the delivery number … I got my phone already, receipt from 25.09.15 with delivery nr 14597. On the other hand nr 117xx is not even shipped yet? That has nothing to do with delay by the shipping service or the shipping counter …
Anyway at all the “lower” numbers still waiting I hope you get your phone the next few days and that the waiting ends by then …
Numbers quoted by users are very confusing as some people actualy state their deliverynumber, some state their ordernumber, some state their invoicenumber, some people mix up all the numbers.
So numbers stated by users aren’t reliable.
I really believe Fairphone is respecting the deliverynumbers. But as I said earlier the day you get your phone is depending on your address, customs etc.
Possible that the “back cover issue” during first batches created some serious mess in delivery numbers ?

But note that the number that counts is the delivery number and it could be much higher than 4000 if your payment was received with a delay and if people before you ordered many phones in one order.
