Fairbuds XL speaker sometimes not working

As the title says, sometimes my left speaker doesn’t work. I have fiddled with the cable, that doesn’t do a thing. I have to slap it and then stereo sound returns. This was at first rare, now it’s a daily thing. Of course, I can open it. But before I do, I was wondering if someone already had to check this, maybe that person can tell me what worked. I don’t want to experiment too much with this expensive headset

I think I’ll open it up next week nonetheless.

Left speaker should only contain the battery… But of course also speaker wiring. So I guess I’ll have to open up the speaker itself, not only the cover.

I only opened it up a few days ago. But no connectors were visible that I could clean (I only unscrew the screws that fit the I Fix It screwdriver).

I think the thing that fixed it was using a spray can with compressed air. I blew in between the spaces of the earphones that can wiggle a bit (don’t know how to describe it better). That seems to have done the trick.
