I’m trying to figure out what (if any) the differences are between spare parts from the 2023 and 2025 line of fairbuds XL.
I know the speakers are upgraded for the 2025 version, and the headband cover and ear cushions of the 2023 model were PU/vegan “leather” whilst the 2025 model used net fabric (although the PU/vegan “leather” version of the ear cushions also comes in the forest green option alongside regular green and black), but many of the other parts seem to have a 2023 version (which has “(2023)” behind the name of the part) and an (implied) 2025 version (which doesn’t mention a year), but there are very little specifications to really tell if there’s much of a difference between the versions of all those other parts besides the colours. Are there any differences between the versions of the spare parts besides colour? If so, are all parts compatible in any direction/combination or are there limits to that? If colour is the only difference, I don’t really get why they’re listed as separate parts rather than colour variations of the same part.
Also is there a difference in colour between the “black” of 2023 and the “horizon black” of 2025? The greens are clearly different from the pictures, but for the blacks it is much harder to tell if there is a colour difference, so if anyone has seen them both irl and could tell me if there’s a difference, I’d love to know
