Fairbuds - either pairing mode or button broken upon delivery

Hi, I am trying to get in contact with support but not having much luck and want to see if this issue can be fixed before the refund period is up, as the fairbuds were a lot of money for my current finances.
I recently ordered a pair of fairbuds, but when they arrived, I found that I couldn’t get the blue led to light up when holding down the button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. I checked with both my phone and laptop, and the fairbuds did not show up when scanning for bluetooth devices.
I have tried the suggested troubleshooting with no luck. I get the lights (red, orange, green) indicating charge, and made sure my fairbuds were fully charged. I also get a white light when I open the case, and a white light that fades and then blinks once when I close it.
I have never seen a blue light. Taking the fairpods out of the case doesn’t make them entering pairing mode either.
I tried the factory reset, but no light blinks nomatter how long I hold down the button, making me suspect the button is broken, since the case led only seems to react to me opening and closing the case, not button presses.
Is there anything else I can try before attempting to get my money back?

So as long as you got a ticket number after sending an e-mail, you should still be covered, at least by warranty. Try to get hold of them via the online chat.

Taking out the battery and putting it back in again actually worked for me… The blue light started blinking and the buds pairing. Before that it was exactly as you describe it.

Maybe for some it is as simple as that too!
