Hallo vrienden,

Hello friends,
We’ve just founded a Facebook group: ‘Fairphoners Nederland’, primarily (though not exclusively) intended for anyone who speaks Dutch or lives in the Netherlands. I imagine no one here likes Facebook very much but this group is an attempt to lower the bar of entry for those who are not prone to sign up to forums, or use chat apps that aren’t WhatsApp - Facebook has a trillion users, and a group there can be a good meeting place for people who are casually interested in (their) Fairphones. For some, it could be a stepping stone to our beloved forum and community. Fairphone has already made clear that they’re quite open to meetups with Dutch Fairphoners.
The lead language is Dutch for now; of course, most native Dutch speakers here speak good English, but not everyone does, and using Dutch is another way to lower the bar of entry. English and other languages can of course also be used, where preferable. Not all Dutch people speak Dutch, after all!
Hopes are that to start off this Facebook group and get some conversation going, some people from this forum can join the group - and if anyone here knows other FP users who are hesitant to jump into the community through the forum, maybe this Facebook group will interest them - so please pass it on.
