Experiences with Fairphone 2 in New Zealand

Hi,

I really like the concept of the fairphone and would love to get the FP2. However I will be moving to New Zealand next year, and I am concerned it won’t work there.

Since the other post regarding NZ are from 2015 I was wondering/ hoping that there might a new development. The way I understood the old posts from 2015, is that I wouldn’t be able to use the phone up to its 4G capacity That means it would be rather slow, is that correct)?

What are the experiences with the FP2? Does it work well in NZ? Am I likely to experiences lacks in service?
