Email-app: not getting mails with combined visualization

Hi,
I use the standard email-app on Fairphone OS 17.10.2 with 3 email-addresses. I set to never get emails automatically.
I call the emails manually when entering the app, but I noticed that I get the emails only if I am positioned in the single accounts. When I go to “combined visualization” the app does not download new emails. So, as I say, I have to go to every single of the 3 accounts to get the emails.

In general I would recommend switching from the pre-installed email-app to K-9 Mail. I do not use it with multiple accounts at the moment, but there is a “refresh” button in the accounts overview which probably does what you want.

You can get K-9 via different methods, see here on github.

I can confirm: You automatically get mails for all accounts in K-9 Mail.

Thank you for the advice.
Maybe I’ll try K-9 in a few times. In the meantime I go ahead with the preinstalled, because I don’t want to reconfigure the 3 mailboxes. Maybe sooner or later the bug will be fixed. :slight_smile:
