Since two days, when I start up my FP, I receive the message “Unfortunately, Exchange Services has stopped”. When I go to my e-mail app (version 4.1), it shows “Waiting for sync”. I’m still waiting.
I think this might be an Android rather than a FP-related issue, but the Android forums haven’t really helped me out so far.
Any tips on how to get my e-mail sync going again?
This is not a real answer, but you could install the open free app K-9 via F-Droid
(if you don’t have F-Droid yet you need to install it first (F-Droid is a robot with a passion for Free and Open Source (FOSS) software on the Android platform.) https://f-droid.org/
Then you could try syncing emails with that, so you know whether it’s an problem of FP, the connection or e-mail app.
(also, K-9 is a really good e-mail app

Thanks for responding, Ruth. I have in the meantime done some more research through my Outlook-account. In the end, it seemed to be a server-issue, and once I had figured that out, I was able to fix it. (I’m holding on to the K-9 tip, though, for future reference.) Cheers, K
