Dropped my phone and now it turns itself off

I dropped my FP1 and the battery that was 51% went immediately down to 18%.

Now it´s turning itself off after around 5 minutes on. What could the problem be?

My FP1 has already a problem charging, I live in the south of Sweden and no repair shop wanted to fix it so I really want to try to fix that myself, as I know how frustrating it can be

I was charging my phone on a train when I’ve got a message saying that my phone was overheated and that I needed immediately to plug it off. That never occurred before! Since that, I am not able to charge my fairphone when it’s on, I need to turn it off and charge it. Someone has a solution for that?

You posted it some months ago, but never replied if the proposed solution worked for you.
