Do you think this FP3 Pogo pin damaged by humidity could still be working?

Hi there !

My FP3 took some drops during rain and was extremely slow and the screen was heavily flickering after.
I dismounted, let dry (no alcohol) and cleaned a bit. I can see one of the pogo flat area (not the pin side) being damaged, does anyone know if this damage can be “lethal” or if the phone could just work with it ? Picture 213851 .

Thanks in advance,
Kind regards,
Nicolas

Hard to see in the picture, if there is a short between two or more contact areas. If not, I would just give it a try…

Hi Tial,

Thanks for answering .

I tried to boot but the issues are still there. I’m just wondering if it is coming from this connection or if it comes from the motherboard…

I will try to send in to the FairPhone angel from Paris and cross my fingers …

Cheers !
