Thanks for your kind words. I spend a lot of time behind the desk in my home office in a town as well. The horses are a 30min. drive away, but its my great “mood lifter” to be with these lovely animals and swap my office stool for the western saddle. And with my FP2 as the only high-tech on board.
Another heads-up: My fiancé had his phone always in his pockets. He had a proximity sensor issue as well, but another thing I haven’t seen mentioned in this thread is the camera lens. It would eventually accumulate humidity that would get trapped in there, rendering the camera unusable because it was just too blurry. He had this problem with two different Fairphones I think, but the latest generation of FP2 seems to be working fine, so far at least.
I suppose that the humidity came from keeping the phone in his pocket while cycling (and sweating).
