Display light does not work properly

Hej,

Since a few days the backlight of my FP (1st edition) does not work properly. Has anybody a similar problem? I want to know ,if this is a warranty issue. And if not is it useful to replace the display or is it possible that the defect is not caused by the display so that the replacement would not solve the problem.

If the backlight is no longer working, that sounds like it’s probably a hardware fault.

Have you raised this directly with Fairphone Support already? If not, I would suggest you do. I would expect it would probably be covered by warranty unless the phone has been damaged by being dropped etc.
