I’m using Open Camera on LineageOS on an FP3+. The camera makes a shutter sound for photos and videos which gets very annoying and I want to disable it. I found a setting to disable it for photos but not for videos. According to elsewhere, the setting only appears if the phone hardware supports the Camera API v2… so, does this mean the FP3 doesn’t support this API? Seems surprising, since the FP3+ is so new.
The only option left seems to be to rename/delete the sound file via root, as described for the FP2 here. Unfortunately the file location specified in the solution to that post is not present on my FP3… does anyone know where it is located now (LineageOS 17.1)?
