Hi folks, can someone explain why the same phone (but with different cases) can have different prices ? An official online reseller here in Switzerland has the following :
white FP2 for 500.-
turquoise and coral at around 580.-
indigo, black and translucid at 650.-
what explains this ?
Resellers can set prices however they want, so you’d have to ask them.
The 650 one seems very strange though.
Well, Fairphone doesn’t force resellers to set a fixed price. I would assume that these prices reflect different demand/popularity of the colours. Fairphone themselves recently sold FP2s with white or turqoise cases at a lower price for a limited (expired) time.
