Google Apps, Google Mobile Services, and Open GApps
Google Apps (GAPPS) and Google Mobile Services (GMS) are packages that can be installed through the updater app FP1 (FP1 OS) or they come already preinstalled on the FP2 (FP2 OS).
OpenGAPPS are the same as GAPPS/GMS. They are just #dic:floss wrapper scripts that differently bundle all or parts of the existing GAPPS to allow their installation on phones running an #dic:operatingsystem that don’t have Google Apps & Services preinstalled.
The decision of actively avoiding GAPPS to increase one’s freedom is called #livingwogoogle.
