I’ve just ordered my Fairphone 6 on launch day (my 4 has been limping through the last month or so but has done it’s service well) - I’ve seen that the 5 was available within the EU with a de-googled OS and that it was possible to manually de-google one outside of the EU, which is the position I’m sadly in thanks to the high number of idiots in the UK.
Does anyone know if it will be possible to do this with a 6 and, if so, how?
The Fairphone gen 6 /e/OS is available on the Murena website (I checked with UK as the country) https://murena.com/shop/smartphones/brand-new/murena-fairphone-6/?wcpbc-manual-country=GB.
I suppose that the /e/OS installer manual will be available on the website Smartphone Selector like it already is for the FP5 (Install /e/OS on a Fairphone FP5 - “FP5”) and older models.
