🇩🇪 🇬🇧 FP1U Poor WIFI reception after repair

Hi all,

I had a local shop repair the micro-USB connector of my FP1U (past warranty).
After they returned it, I noticed that the reception of the WIFI is much poorer.
The wifi works, but it gets 1/4 of the signal at 1m of the modem, and nothing if
I’m farther away. I used to be able to use FON and see lots of other wifis, now I just
see my own, with a very poor signal.

I think it’s an antenna related issue. I tried to reopen the phone and check the
cable that connects the motherboard to the little daughterboard at the lower end,
it seems OK. Any other idea on how to debug this? Is it possible that the repairer
"fried" some component? Would replacing the daughterboard help?

Ich habe exakt das gleiche wifi Problem mit meinem FP1U. Nachdem das Gehäuse zur Reinigung der durch Staub verschmutzen Kamera (Scan für eBanking war nicht mehr möglich) geöffnet wurde, ist der wifi Empfang nur noch im Umkreis von 1 - 2 m zum Modem möglich. Auch ich habe das Kabel und die Anschlüsse zwischen Motherboard und Daughterboard kontrolliert, dies ist in Ordnung.

Wer kann uns mit weiteren Ideen helfen?
