Data usage starts counting wrong

Hi,

since this month I notice that the data usage will be counted wrong by the android-system. Maybe it starts a little bit earlier, but I didn’t noticed it at the end of the month.

In 6 days I have a difference of 400 MB. Provider App says 460 MB data usage, android says 100 MB.

I am sure that I use more than 100 MB in the last days.

Has anyone observed anything similar?

Do the usage cycles match so your phone resets the counter on the same day your provider does?

Yes, it does. I don’t change anything. I also noticed that the systems starts counting after leaving the first time the wlan on 02.09. The counter does not start at 0:00 am.
