I would like to create a full backup of my Fairphone 1 to restore it onto another Fairphone 1. Currently I’m creating a backup of /dev/block/mmcblk0 of the phone via dd. Now I’m wondering if I will be able to restore this backup on the other phone. Maybe via adb push (in recovery mode?)? Does anyone have experience in doing this?

Just in case someone is trying to do something similar… I wasn’t able to restore the backup. Eventually I used Titanium Backup to backup all my apps and settings and then restored them on the other phone. This was even possible without an SD Card and put the second phone almost in the same state as the first one. The only thing I had to do additionally was to transfer all my photos, etc.
