I wonder if anyone can help. Earlier today my phone was sitting next to the coffee and there was a small spill. Everything seemed fine upon wiping. The phone has been working perfectly all afternoon but I’ve recently noticed it won’t charge. Then, when I took it apart there was a bit of moisture inside. I’ve dried that up but it still won’t charge - any suggestions? Would a replacement bottom module be required?
Drying isn’t enough unless it’s clean water, dissolved substances, worse if it’s not black coffee with no sugar. If it was clean water you would still need to dismantle and dry all pieces in a cool flow of air
Did you remove the module? You can use Isopropyl Alcohol to clean it. Water will do but will take a day to dry in cool air flow.
