Changing settings during calls

During a phone call I have several problems. Sometimes the call is ended while talking, sometimes my timezones changes or I’m suddenly making a new phonecall.

How can this happen? Do I touch the phone with my cheek to much? It would be nice to have normal phone calls without having to hold my fairphone 5cm from my face. How can I lock the screen while talking?

After dialling just press the power on/off button, to turn off the display.

Make sure the setting “On/Off ends call” is not checked. You can alter this by going to Settings > Accessability aid.
