Can't unbrick my phone running UT2K

I can’t unbrick my phone with a locked bootloader running the FP5.UT2K.B.098.20250109 bootloader, I tried using the fastboot oem allow-flashing, but what I get back is that it says it’s an unknown command…

So your phone has Ubuntu installed or your PC, or what is UT2K?

and to be sure you are trying this?

And just for the records, fastboot and adb are 2 different things, your phone was booted to bootloader when you tried?

UT2K is the latest software update and when I try “fastboot oem allow-flashing” I get this

On your PC?

Do other fastboot commands work, like fastboot devices? And your phone booted into bootloader?

How does the phone brick or was it bricked at first boot?

fastboot devices works, some of the others work as well while the phone is booted in bootloader, I was relocking calyxos manually when it got bricked and I can’t seem to unbrick

UT2K is the latest update for the Fairphone 5

So this is a CalyxOS Version or the FPOS Version before you installed CalyxOS? I assume FPOS Version FP5.UT2K.B.098.20250109 (in short its B.098) so the most recent and which Calyx Version did you try to install, what is the Security Patch level date?

I would rather ask in the Calyx Matrix Channel for help, the developer might better know why the command does not work with their system.

Not helpful for you now, so just for the records: never do this, the Calyx installer checks if its save to lock.

CalyxOS version was 25514020, not sure what the Security Patch Level is and yes, that was the FP5 Update I was going from.

Thats not the most recent and I guess the SPL was def older thats why it bricked. I would really check with the Calyx community to get ideas why the fastboot command does not work.

I’m checking, I’m not sure that they have any ideas either. I still wonder if it even still exists as a command within the UT2K FP bootloader

They don’t know why that command is not working

Don’t know where the fastboot oem commands are found so I can’t confirm if fastboot oem allow-flashing still exists within the bootloader as a command
