Similar issue here. Receiving SMS is unreliable, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes messages take days to arrive.
Yesterday I was trying to login to an app that required SMS verification. I tried several times without success. This morning I tried again, then I restarted the phone, messed with a bunch of settings etc. Suddenly I get like 10 messages from the app, as well as a dozen other messages from other senders that had been queued up. However I doubt the root issue has been fixed.
I’m currently using eSIM so I will try switching to a physical SIM card.
