I’m trying to use whatsapp on my FP2 but to get the verification code, i must deactivate roaming. I did so in the settings but when i scroll down the settings shortcuts, it still says roaming above the time and there’s still an R next to my network. What should I do?
Hi, that there is an R next to your network means that you are connected to a network that is not your own. WhatsApp recognises this and warns that SMS verification might not work, however in practice it will usually not be a problem if you can send/receive other SMS messages.
For some mobile operators, roaming gets displayed by mistake. In that case you should ignore the message. Is it possible to continue verification in WhatsApp?
