Can't connect to Mobile data

Hi, long story.

I had a problem with Phone Coop. For months I could send texts but not receive them. Finally gave up with them and last week signed up to Virgin Media Mobile.
I CAN now send and receive texts but I CAN’T connect to mobile data. The phone connects to my home wifi but when I go out I can’t connect to the internet via mobile data. I’ve been ‘talking’ to Virgin for two days and they can’t solve it.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Virgin have been asking me to input data in the Access Point Names, which I have done but the phone doesn’t seem to save this data.

Don’t worry! I’ve got it working. Had to put in some of the information into APN and save rather than all of it. Weird.
