Can't add custom ringtone after switching to unified storage

I’ve already tried the instructions in this official post: https://fairphone.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/201882768-How-do-I-change-my-ringtone-

But there was no “Ringtone” folder! I created one, thinking it might make it work, but no go. I also tried “Ringtones”.

Anybody get it to work after updating to unified storage?

Try playing back your wanted ringtone in the default MUSIC app, then touch the left hard button and set this tone as your ringtone. I guess this will create a proper ringtone folder in the first place.
