Can not enable signal chat backups and dont know where is the issue is

I am running signal on my phone with stock os but google files removed (trued with that enabled, didnt helped).

I just cant enable signal chat backup. everytime i click enable it asks me to choose a folder and the backup will be saved there but after clicking contunie it just errors out and tells me that there are no file selection application available.

Is it signal, fairphone sided or i was just dump?

You can switch language to EN for screenshots…

Works fine for me, stored in the internal storage. No Google Account at all on my phone.
