When people call my Fairphone and I don’t manage to reply in time, all they hear is five rings and then complete silence - no option to leave a voicemail message. How can I remedy this?
The voicemail functionality is typically a feature of your telecom provider. You’d have to enable this feature with him, also the way it reacts to incoming calls. Have you used this feature before already?

Yes, I have used this feature in the past. I have no idea when the functionality was disabled (assuming that is what has happened).
I’ve contacted my provider (Phone Co-op) and they’re going to send me a new SIM card - with the added bonus that I’ll be upgraded to 4G.
