Bluetooth volume management suddenly stops working

Since a few days my Fairphone 4 just stopped to manage the volume of bluetooth devices properly. Before the volume buttons of my BT-device and the FP4 were synchronized (as they should).
But suddenly (without an update or anything really) the volume controls of my devices and the FP4 are just side by side without any effect on each other.

Does anybode have the same problem, or a possible solution?

Can you try this

  1. Restart your phone and Bluetooth device.
  2. Unpair and re-pair your Bluetooth device.
