Bluetooth connection constantly dropping since software update

Since the recent software update to my FP4, bluetooth has been shocking.

Build: FP4TP2I.C.0121.20240626

  • The device connects to others (mainly my car hifi).
  • This works as expected using a number of apps (signal, whatsapp, calls, audible).
  • Regularly (between 5-20 mins) the connection drops out and reconnects a few seconds later
  • If this is during a call, digital noise/errors can be heard when disconnecting

Note that under identical conditions and pre-patch, the above did not happen in identical conditions.

… and losing audible before a 32 hour drive from Norway to the UK is… extremely disappointing.

Are there any patches/updates I am missing?

I have a similar issue for a while now, just that all my connections drop. I notice it most when bluetooth interupts the music or during a call (wifi or network), and then check if it has also lost network and wifi signals (bluetooth usually comes back first).

Do you also notice that with the bluetooth interuptions the other connections drop too?

I have, unfortunately, not found a permanent solution yet and have already contacted support twice about it…
