Big ask ~ your old batteries

Hi, fairphone folk have been incredibly generous supplying me with Fairphone2 spare parts and even whole phones so i can keep going as long as i can with the smaller device…
The snag now is that FP2 batteries aren’t for sale anymore, and my mobile hardware is of course useless without batteries!

So my big ask is that if you ever owned a Fairphone2, and still have old FP2 batteries in the back of a drawer/desk somewhere - ones that you know didn’t actually die on you - then please could i have them to try and keep my phones going?

FP2 Battery shopping

The batteries on eBay are often sold by “ElectroPapa”. They sell many, many batteries for a wide variety of devices, I have one in a DAB radio for about ten years already, another one in a notebook computer, and there’s nothing to complain about them. I know that using third party batteries voids the warranty but we are talking about a device that is out of warranty for at least 5 years already and the company selling the third party batteries is big enough to generate some trust that their batt…
