Battery does not charge to 100%, drains quickly

My phone’s battery needs 8 or 9 hours to charge, but it never goes over 83%. Also, it drains extremely quickly – after lunch, I am down to below 50%, and in the afternoon, I have to plug the phone into my computer at work to keep it running until evening, but it is not really being charged then, but rather kept from shutting down.

Furthermore, the screen freezes when I charge the phone via power outlet. I have to unplug, hit the power button and hit it again before the screen reacts to input. Anyone experiences these issues as well? Bad battery or bad product?

Hello did you already try a different USB cable vor charging device? That solved a similar Problem for me.
