Hey dear FP-supporters,
since a while, my phone is sometimes vibrating randomly, e.g. after turning the screen off or when I’d like to unlock it. I sometimes get the message “Zu viele Versuche, bitte später noch einmal probieren” (Too many attempts, please try again later), but everything works fine.
I think as a consequence, the battery discharges much faster than before which is a bit annoying.
Does anyone have an idea if and how I can fix it?

That message indicates the fingerprint sensor has exhausted the number of tries and falls back to pin/pattern/etc. unlock. The FP4 fingerprint sensor is notoriously sensitive for some people (me included).
If you haven’t already, you can disable fingerprint unlocking when the screen is off, for me the option is under:
Settings → Security and privacy → Device unlock → Biometric unlock → Fingerprint → Touch to unlock at any time (I’m not running standard FPOS, this option might be somewhere else in Android 13)
