Just received my Fairphone 3+. In logging into both home wifi accounts the phone says there is an Authentication Problem. The passwords are correct, the wifi is working on other devices. Can anyone tell me what to do? Getting started on this phone has not been easy. It also kept telling me that I had no sim inserted. Took over an hour of trying to sort that. Any help on what to do to get my wifi would be appreciated very much,
Well as you may not have saved any data yet you can reset the phone.
Settings > System > Advanced > Reset options > Erase all data (Factory reset)
Ensure bluetooth is off as your phone may be trying to connect to wifi 2.4Ghz which is the same frequency band as bluetooth.
Further switch to aeroplane mode then enable wifi as 4G network also uses the 2.4Ghz band.
Additionally ensure you do not format the SD card as internal storage.
