I did have some excellent ear buds (not Apple) but lost them! I did have some fairbuds that came when I bought the FP5, but gave them to my daughter. She says they are very good. I would like to buy some new earphones and, aside fromm the costs, which would be better? I am considering both the fairbuds and the XLs. An issue I had with previous earbids, is the earwax, either clogging the buds (nice) or being pushed down into the ear canal. As long as I clean regularly then it is on me. An issue with the XLs is that I wear glasses and I read a review about someone who found this an issue. Any other experinces/advice?
You don’t happen to be near any of these upcoming meetups that feature the Fairbuds XL, do you?

Just a brief comment.
I wear over the ear headphones ( a different brand) so perhaps my experience might be at least slightly useful. There are bigger (obviously;-)), heavier, can’t be easily stored away, more difficult to lose ( I managed but that’s on me;-)), you wear them on your hat outdoors, etc… , sleeping in them is a challenge…
But I find them very handy.
I don’t own fairbuds XL but when deciding went to the store and tried several sets. Some felt heavy and uncomfortable so I would fully recommend trying them beforehand if only possible.
A Fairphoner in my local network who has used the Fairbuds XL for months and wears glasses reported this as well, but a while later she told us how she found an easy way around this issue. As you can see in the picture below, the USB cable that connects both speakers bends inside, adding to pressure on glasses’ frames. However, she figured out it is possible to push the cable outside through the lower part of the headband bases (you can spot a “hole” on each side in the picture), thus relieving the pressure from the cable.
