App shortcuts disappeared

Hi,

it seems that the app shortcuts are disappeared after the last update. There is no context menu when long press on an app icon (for example Play Store, Settings).

I checked it with Nova Launcher and the standard launcher of the Fairphone.

With ā€œlast updateā€ you mean version A.094, right?

Iā€™ve just checked with Nova Launcher and the context menu comes up fine when long-pressing an app icon on the home screen.

I checked the default launcher. It works just fine.

Vague guess:
Are you using an SD card that is formatted to allow moving apps to that SD card?

Sorry, it seems that only the apps Play Store and Settings are affected (default launcher and Nova). Other apps still have the shortcuts. Than it is not a Problem with the last update I think.

No, all apps are on the internal storage.

go to Nova settings > Advanced > Restart Nova Launcher and see if the shortcuts are back.

Even nova is not the last truth :wink:

So, I found a solution. I have to delete storage and cache for the two apps ā€œGoogle Play Storeā€ and ā€œSettingsā€. Now, the shortcuts are back.
