App icons keep disappearing from the start screen or folders
Which hardware model? Software version? When do they disappear (e.g. on reboot)? Is there an SD card configured as internal memory?

Could be a dying microSD card.
Could it be a less frequent issue on updating the disappearing app via Google Play Store? This usually happens when the app changes its icon.
I’ve removed and formatted the sd card on my pc. there seems nothing wrong with it.
