Any good keyboard app without gen AI?

Hello,
For many many years I’ve used SwiftKey but lately it’s been insane. Suggestions are 90% of the times wrong, and I end up correcting a lot or leaving weird typos behind. It also seems to stop working sometimes which is frustrating. I tried Gboard and I didn’t like it.
Is there any suggestion of a keyboard that:

  • Does not include Generative AI and preferably not vibe coded.
  • Supports multiple languages at the same time with one layout (mandatory feature for me as I write in 3 languages but like to keep 1 layout)
  • Can have a number row
  • Optional: Open source

I use Heliboard, the Iode Version. Open Source in F-Droid both originalnand fork, however I dont care about typo suggestions, so dont know if better or not reg this.

I believe FUTO Keyboard has got you covered, it’s available on F-Droid through their own repositories too.

I’m also on FUTO keyboard. The last update made swipe typing pretty good.
The only thing I’m not sure about is if it supports multiple languages on the same layout. I have three languages configured, but switch between them by long-pressing the space bar.
On top of that, it has a pretty well working voice transcription that works completely offline.

AnySoftKeyboard is also pretty good. I use that.

I’m using Simple Keyboard:

It’s stable and functional, the only feature I miss a bit is emoji support.
