Answering phone when part of touchscreen not working

I’ve reported a problem with the touchscreen - the part including the “i” isnt working but ore annoyingly it wont allow me to answer the phone when it rings if the screen is off. Can the position of the answer swipe be changed? other ideas?

Hello, I have the same problem with my touchscreen but for me the area of the “e” isn’t working.
If your phone is rooted you could install xposed framework and try GravityBox, there I’ve found an option to show a full screen picture of the callee. I personally use a dumb phone to call and send/receive SMS as it is annoying that the loudspeaker switches on and off when random inputs occur.
