I have the same problem with the alarm. When it rings, there is no circel or anything shown, I can only turn it off by going to the clock app and turn of the alarm time itself. I just got the Fairphone 2 for a week now, installed the latest software, reboot did not help.
Don’t know why this doesn’t work for you.
But you could use your volume keys to end or suspend the alarm. This option can be found in the alarm settings.
Did you check in Settings > Sound & notification > Notifications if notifications for your Clock app are maybe turned off? They need to be turned “on” (or in “priority”). Then, the alarm screen should be available again.
