1 Week after guarantee ended - Bricked - Cordon says 195,- € - seriously?

The subject already says it. We’re really not amused. I mean, repairable, fair hardware. Nothing happened to the phone, absolutely nothing. It’s been turned off, and a few days later does not turn on again. Seemingly an internal memory problem, not even flashable anymore.

This is not normal. Did anyone experience something similar? Is this business as usual with fairphones?

And what does Cordon say is broken?

Just “electronic card”.

Btw: you bought the FP3(+) new in 2023? The phone is from 2019 and had 2 years of warranty.

I’m absolutely sure that when I wrote the thread we were well beyond then end of any warranty. I may have been a 3rd party service for a refurbished device.

Yes, this is correct. We just liked its features.
