You can check this yourself in this little tutorial I wrote a while back. Thanks for bringing the topic up again, while FP2 will be launched soon, so I could update the info for FP2. 
PS: Since Fairphone want to expand to Australia in 2016, I’m pretty sure it should work. (edited, See @anon90052001’s reply below.)
