Will I have problems with extended warranty because of these?

1.Last year, I purchased my FP6 from a reseller. When I registered it for the extended warranty, the confirmation email I received did not include the reseller’s name for some reason. However, it did contain the correct date and IMEI, so I assumed it wouldn’t be a problem.

2.In February, I received a Fairbuds XL, but I had to send it back because it was faulty. It was replaced with a new unit. I have just registered the replacement device for the extended warranty using its current IMEI. After doing so, I noticed that the service report includes both the old and the new IMEI numbers (listed as IMEI in and IMEI out). However, I assume this should not be an issue as long as the extended warranty is registered under the new IMEI. The service report would only be relevant if I had registered the old IMEI - and even then, likely only in case the device needed to be sent in for repair.

But I was wondering whether I might be wrong and if any of these could cause problems.

Hello
You may run the self-repair portal for an imaginary issue and try sending for a repair. Then the system asks for your IMEI and confirms the warranty status.

I vaguely recall any repair does not extend the warranty time, so with your Fairbuds XL new IMEI’ s registration - was the warranty period extended anyhow? If not, I would imagine you’re good to go (but that’s only an educated guess).
